  Professor Chul-Ho Kim, MD, PhD is Professor of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Ajou University School of Medicine, Republic of Korea. He received his MD from Inha University College of Medicine, completed his residency training in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Inha University Hospital, and subsequently completed both his clinical fellowship in Head and Neck Surgery and his PhD training at Yonsei University College of Medicine (Severance Hospital). He completed additional clinical and research training at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and as a Visiting Scholar at the University of Tennessee. He currently serves as Director of the Quattro Precision Therapeutics Institute, Director of the Ajou Research Institute for Innovative Medicine, Director of the Head and Neck Cancer Center at Ajou University Medical Center. He is also President of the Korean Society for Head and Neck Oncology and Chairman of the Council of Korea's Research-Driven Hospitals. His research focuses on translational medicine for head and neck cancer, particularly the development of precision immunotherapies, including therapeutic antibodies and CAR-T cell therapies, as well as plasma medicine for cancer and inflammatory diseases. His laboratory integrates clinical data with cutting-edge technologies such as single-cell and spatial transcriptomics to identify novel therapeutic targets and advance precision oncology. To accelerate the clinical translation and commercialization of plasma medicine technologies, Professor Kim founded Plarit Inc., where he currently serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Under his leadership, the company is developing innovative plasma-based medical devices and therapeutics, bridging academic discoveries with clinical and industrial applications. Professor Kim has published extensively in leading international journals, including Nature Communications, Cellular & Molecular Immunology, Autophagy, and Biomaterials. Through his leadership in clinical practice, translational research, and biomedical entrepreneurship, he continues to advance physician-led innovation and the development of next-generation therapeutics for patients with head and neck cancer.

  Dr. Patrick Ha is chief of the UCSF Division of Head and Neck Surgical Oncology. His expertise in patient care covers the full scope of head and neck surgery, with a focus on thyroid and parathyroid surgery as well as endoscopic approaches to throat cancer surgery. Dr Ha’s research is focused on molecular changes that occur in adenoid cystic carcinoma of the salivary gland, particularly looking at the function of novel gene fusions. Dr. Ha received his undergraduate degree in biology from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. He obtained his medical degree from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, graduating with membership in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He then completed his residency training and a postdoctoral fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Department of Otolaryngoloygy, along with advanced fellowship training in head and neck oncologic surgery. Ha serves as the Editor In Chief of the journal Head & Neck, and is on the editorial board of several medical journals, including Oral Oncology. He is the Irwin Mark Jacobs and Joan Klein Jacobs Distinguished Professor in Head and Neck Cancer.

  Seiichi Yoshimoto, MD, graduated from the University of Tokyo in 1991 and completed his residency in otolaryngology at the same institution. In 1995, he joined the Department of Head and Neck Surgery at the Cancer Institute Hospital of the Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research (JFCR), and in 2001 he completed a clinical fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh. Since 2008, he has been affiliated with the National Cancer Center Hospital in Tokyo, where he was appointed Vice Director in 2021. In 2024, he assumed the presidency of the Japan Society for Head and Neck Cancer and currently serves on the Executive Committee of IFHNOS. He has authored 120 English-language papers, 121 Japanese-language papers, and 11 textbooks. His clinical and academic interests include sentinel node biopsy, head and neck sarcoma, open conservation surgery, skull base and upper mediastinal surgery, salvage surgery after chemoradiotherapy, surgical education, cancer registries, and terminal care for patients with head and neck cancer.

  Dr Melvin L.K. Chua is a Clinician-Scientist (Senior Investigator) at the National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS) and the Duke-NUS Medical School. He is currently an Associate Professor (On Tenure) of Duke-NUS Medical School, Singapore; Visiting Professor of the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University, China. He is also a Principal Investigator of the Precision Radiotherapeutics and Oncology Programme (PROP) (www.chualabnccs.com). Additionally, he is the Head of Department and Senior Consultant for the Department of Head and Neck and Thoracic Radiation Oncology, and Director of the Data and Computational Science Hub at the NCCS. He has published over 230 peer-reviewed papers, with a H-index of 51 (>14,000 citations); He is the Lead Author of the Nasopharynx Cancer Chapter of the 12th edition of the Cancer: Principles & Practice of Oncology – the most widely-used oncology textbook worldwide, as well as other highly cited articles in the New England Journal of Medicine, Lancet, Nature, Cell, Journal of Clinical Oncology and JAMA Oncology. Consequently, he is listed as the World’s Top 2% Most Cited Scientists by the Stanford-Elsevier group in consecutive years since 2023 (2023, 2024, and 2025).   Dr. Jong Chul Park is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and an attending medical oncologist at the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, where he specializes in head and neck cancers and early-phase clinical drug development. He received his M.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine and pursued research training as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Otolaryngology, Division of Head and Neck Cancer Research, at Johns Hopkins University. He subsequently completed internal medicine residency at East Carolina University, followed by hematology/oncology fellowship training at Georgetown University and Johns Hopkins University, before joining Massachusetts General Hospital, where he has developed a clinical and research program focused on novel therapeutics for solid tumors. Dr. Park’s research centers on clinical and translational investigation of innovative cancer therapies, with particular emphasis on first-in-human and early-phase clinical trials in head and neck cancer and other solid tumors. His work spans a broad range of therapeutic modalities, including immunotherapy, antibody-drug conjugates, and cellular therapies. He has also led and collaborated on translational and outcomes research integrating biomarker development, liquid biopsy technologies, and artificial intelligence-driven predictive modeling to improve treatment selection and patient outcomes.   Tsung-Lin Yang, MD, PhD, EMBA, is a distinguished surgeon and scientist specializing in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery and a dedicated researcher in the fields of regenerative medicine and oncology. He currently holds multiple senior roles, including Deputy Vice President for Research and Development at National Taiwan University, Professor and Chief of Head and Neck Surgery in the Department of Otolaryngology at the National Taiwan University Hospital, a Professor in the Graduate Institute of Clinical Medicine, and the Director of the Center of Industry-Academia Cooperation at National Taiwan University. Prof. Yang is a specialist in surgical oncology and possesses extensive expertise in robotic surgery for the head and neck. He has developed innovative surgical techniques and patented novel devices, such as Yang's retractors, positioning him as a pioneer of robotic surgery in the field in Taiwan. Additionally, he has devoted considerable efforts to exploring new applications of ultrasound for guided procedures, and his published studies have shed light on the crucial roles of tumor satellite budding in head and neck cancer.   Dr. Kyriakos Vamvakidis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1971. He studied medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen–Nuremberg, Germany, and at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. After completing his training in General Surgery in Athens in 2005, he undertook a clinical fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the University of Halle, Germany, under the supervision of Professor Henning Dralle. He subsequently worked for two years in the Section of Endocrine Surgery at the University Hospital of Halle and was awarded the title of Fellow of the Division of Endocrine Surgery (UEMS) in March 2009. He served as Director of the Department of Endocrine Surgery at Central Clinic of Athens and, since 2017, has been Director of the Department of Endocrine Surgery at Henry Dunant Hospital Center in Athens. Dr. Vamvakidis holds a Master’s degree in Medical Research Methodology from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His academic interests focus on surgical education and training in endocrine surgery. He regularly organizes national and international seminars on intraoperative neuromonitoring in thyroid surgery and has spearheaded the development of virtual reality (VR) applications for endocrine surgery education and training under the auspices of the Hellenic Association of Endocrine Surgeons. He is a Past President of the Hellenic Association of Endocrine Surgeons, Vice President of the Educational Council of the Hellenic Surgical Society, and Chairman of the Education Committee of the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons (ESES).

  Dr. Hyunseok Kang is a clinician-scientist and Professor of Medicine in the Division of Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine, where he leads the Head and Neck Medical Oncology program. He specializes in head and neck cancers and rare malignancies, with a particular focus on salivary gland cancers and adenoid cystic carcinoma. Trained at Columbia University and Emory University, he has held faculty appointments at Johns Hopkins University and the University of California, San Francisco, before joining Stanford in 2025. Dr. Kang serves as Global Principal Investigator for multiple clinical trials in rare head and neck cancers and is an active member of the ASCO Annual Meeting Program Committee. He has contributed to the dissemination of the American Thyroid Association thyroid cancer guidelines through executive summary authorship and recently participated as a panel member at an FDA advisory symposium on adenoid cystic carcinoma. His work bridges translational science and clinical investigation with the goal of transforming outcomes for patients with cancers that have historically lacked effective therapies.

  Dr. Miyauchi is President-Emeritus of Kuma Hospital in Kobe, Japan. He is an endocrine surgeon with a particular interest in thyroid and parathyroid disorders. He graduated from Osaka University School of Medicine in 1970, and obtained his MD in 1970 and PhD in 1978. After working in the Second Department of Surgery at the university, he was promoted to the Second Department of Surgery at Kagawa Medical University, where he served as Associate Professor. In 1998, he was invited to become Vice-President of Kuma Hospital. He served as President of the hospital from 2001 to 2022, and now he is President-Emeritus, continuing clinical and academic works. He is a Visiting Professor of Surgery, Nippon Medical School, Tokyo, Japan. He served as President of the Asian Association of Endocrine Surgeons from 2012 to 2020 and President of the International Association of Endocrine Surgeons from 2019 to 2022. He is a corresponding member of American Association of Endocrine Surgeons and American Thyroid Association as well as a member of Japanese medical societies in the field of surgery, endocrine surgery, endocrinology and pathology.   Dr. Kyung Tae is a professor in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. He is the founder and Director of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery (APTS) and the Director of Hanyang University Hospital Cancer Center.   Dr. Kyung Tae is a professor in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, Hanyang University in Seoul, Korea. He is the founder and Director of the Asia-Pacific Society of Thyroid Surgery (APTS) and the Director of Hanyang University Hospital Cancer Center. He served as the President of the Korean Society of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery in 2014-2015 and vice president of the Korean Thyroid Association in 2016-2017. Dr. Tae also served as General-Secretary of the Korean Society of Thyroid, Head and Neck Surgery, and the Korean Society of Head and Neck Oncology. His primary clinical and research interests include thyroid/parathyroid surgery, especially robotic and endoscopic thyroid surgery, and head and neck oncology. He is an expert on robotic thyroid and head and neck surgery. He has published more than 350 articles in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters.

  Professor Jin Hyoung Kang graduated from The Catholic University of Korea in 1984 and took internship and residency in Internal Medicine at St. Mary’s Hospital between 1984 and 1988. He earned his MS in 1988 and PhD in 1995 at The Catholic University Graduate School. He was a research fellow at Cornell University Medical College, majoring in research on cell adhesion molecules in tumor metastasis. He has been a faculty member of Internal Medicine, The Catholic University of Korea since 1993, and a Professor of Medical Oncology since 2004. In 2018, He earned master’s degree of EMBA Program in Korea Management Business School. He has published more than 300 articles in peer reviewed journals. His research focus is experimental therapeutics and early clinical development of novel target agents and immune-oncology drugs. He discovered a novel driver oncogene, KIF5B-RET in a Korean NSCLC patient in 2012 and is currently interested in autophagy and tumor microenvironment in cancer research. Professor Kang has been actively involved in clinical trials as principal investigator or co-investigator in over 200 clinical trials evaluating novel agents in other malignancies as well as lung cancer, head and neck cancer, esophageal cancer and melanoma. He is trying to establish precision oncology with application of deep learning technique to multi-omics data curated from cancer patients. Professor Kang has contributed to the evaluation of novel anti-cancer drugs and the bioequivalent test of generic drugs as an Executive Consultant of MFDS since 2002.He carried out the R&D Projects funded by KNCC (Korean National Cancer Center, Cancer Conquer Project) and NRF (National Research Foundation). He was the former president of Korean Head and Neck Cancer Association, Korean Cancer Study Group (KCSG), and Korean Association Lung Cancer (KALC). He has been a member of international scientific societies including ASCO, AACR, ESMO, and IASLC. Currently, he is a regular member of National Academy of Medicine of Korea.
